DG X7 in a P790 2-iron, definitely a WRX-er.

Love the 2-iron with the DG X7's. I wouldn't be able to hit it more than 10 feet off the ground but the stingers would be immaculate.

It's always refreshing to see amateurs or some other player, in general, get a WITB spotlight and we get to see older model classics as such. Happened to see a preowned set of 750s and 730s at a Roger Dunn and man they looked nice. IMO I feel TM didn't do a good job of building on those models. I think they look amazing vs P7MB/MCs....

Not only that, but also a decidedly non-linear progression for the shafts in his irons and wedges. Would have been fascinating to observe that fitting process.

My son has played with Michael a few times and says he absolutely smashes it. For the driving iron he tees the ball up relatively high and then hits a low stinger!

 

I watched him win the Mass Amateur last year and he just brought the course to its knees.  Great talent and I'll be excited to see how he gets on this week.
