I am going to disagree with some here but I think those look good. I personally dont love the full face look at address but the shaping and design on these look good. As they come at a discount to the Vokeys of the world I think they will do well. Having toned down some of the graphics will help for sure.

I just can't decide if I want to order a 50* of the current model at its current price, just in case the prices increases.

 

I need a 56* too, but definitely want the new design on that one, because the current full face looks weird to my eye, the new one looks nicer.

got a chance to hit these at my local golf show.....they look and feel great (i wont get to much into this as its subjective and its really the first SB i have ever hit).....i personally really liked the way they feel and they look so good....March 1st was the date i was given, and was also told they will $159, so right on par with previous years as i know for myself, i was worried there was going to be a big price jump.......hope it helps.

 

also, has anyone used the wide/low? i really liked that one for different shot types but have never played a wedge that shape so i am concerned it may be a novelty type of club that doesnt last in the bag for long.....thanks

Local guy ordered me a 56 last week, a OL, and was told the current one is out of stock although showed in stock. Got the new model on preorder!

I have had the 50* gap of the current snakebite in my cart for weeks, but just can't pull the trigger knowing this new one is coming haha

I’ve got a 2 each of the current 52s and a pair of 56s bent to 58 for the added bounce! One set I use in the yard for practice and one 56 is in my bag. Mine are all OL! Lots of spin!

YES, I have 4-SW Rad Speeds currently with the new SW on order. I’m currently building & contemplating a T -Rail in the 5,6 spot. I see no issues in my SS using the 4-6 irons just looking at going way easier! I use a leftover W/S Launch Pad in the 4 spot currently. You’re a club, club 1/2 longer than me per the yardages you give, I see that you’d have no trouble at all!

if gaping is a issue dont forget that you can change loft's, its something that i dont think a lot of people spend time doing and instead just give up on OL's, and i see people with VL clubs have the same issue but will explain it off as (a million reasons) but its never the clubs, but for some reason with OL its the clubs/OL fault, and they dont work.....tweek the lofts to fit your game/bag and you will have one deadly set of clubs.

Can’t compare the to the models you’re in question of but mine are full face,versatile Grind. Have as posted previously, own a pair OL 52/56 with the 56 bent to 58 for added bounce. Conditions here are normally soft Bermuda grass but they can tend to mow it fairly close sometimes. Wedges are no problem and I’m naturally steep with my swing. I find them to be great wedges. Tons of spin and enjoyable to play. Another underrated product by Cobra golf!

yeah, i would say try to get your hands on some if possible....hopefully you can hit a friends or test some used ones out before you dive into it (i know it can seem like a big risk), but i will say to anyone that you really need to commit  to OL and understand it is to simplify the game/swing.......every club is swung/played like a 7i (or whatever length they are at) and ball position is the same as well....i think most people who have played VL clubs for so long really struggle with this idea and it something that flies in the face of what they always have done, and quickly abandon it and say things like "its a gimmick" "how come no one uses it" "ball flight is to high/low" etc......the most under rated/ under talked about IMO about OL is chipping/pitching and how much easier it is, and for me personally how many strokes it has saved me.....good luck and hope you can get a chance to dip your feet in.

correct.... I asked when i could order them since no stores around me carry them and he told me the 1st, but also said that they would most likely be in stores at that time.....

I was cheeky and asked the customer service guy at Cobra Canada if he could tell me a release/pre-order, and didn't hear back from him yet haha

Just found something interesting, this page calls it the SBX:

Thanks for all the info! This is the only place on the internet to find any info! I just upgraded from an out of the box set of Wilson’s to Cobra Aerojet One Length Irons and the Driver, 3W and 4H. Was gonna buy 2021 & 2022 SB, then I saw someone on YouTube try out the new ones. Does anyone know if they are gonna wait a year to release one length SB or SBx or wait a year like they did in 2021?

I've not seen or heard anything about the OL coming this year, but no idea!
