4 wood comparison

Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone could compare the adams bty and the TEE fairways in distance and forgiveness,or if you have any other suggestions for a 4 wood to replace a cobra sz 3 wood.

Hi Chris, in the "other" departement I can recommend a Taylor Made V-steel. Got a 16,5* with a purple ice 85 gram shaft in it and it works perfect for me. Good luck with the hunt!

Gotta second the V-Steel, I have one but have yet to swap out the stock steel shaft but I really like the club.

I can't comment on the BTY but the TEE (older model) didn't work as well for me as it did for others. I played the head with several different shafts but it just spun too much for my tastes. I didn't get the extra yards as promised and in fact, it was shorter than my R7 TP and v-steel. I also hit some other OEM's much better. Don't just buy on hype. You will have to hit it to see if it's for you. I did and it wasn't for me.

I would recommend the Adams RPM LP Tour. I have it in 16* w/Fuji Vista Pro 80 and love it!!! Good luck on your search.

I highly recommend the Wishon 949MC. I carry the 14*, but have heard rave reviews on the 16.5* as well. Very hot face, and easy to hit.

Mizzy F60, Burner TP (pretty sure theres a 4 wood?), G10 are the best ones i've hit

I love my Callaway FT 4 wood. Fantastic off the tee and much easier to hit off the ground than a 3 wood.

I have a v steel 13 degree spoon with the purple ice 85 in it also,but the flight is a bit low for me.What kind of ball flight does the 16.5 give you????

I switched from a Nike T60 to the PING G10 17* 4 wood, it is a real rocket. The PING G10 fairway woods are tough!

i have a bty 16.5 with prolaunch red, and i really like it. nice high launch for me, but the red doesnt overspin the ball, so it is pretty good in the wind. i really like the solid feel - almost feels 'dense' - and it is workable both left and right as well as high and low. very good club.
