Picked up my 11 ch from getting restarted today and decided to roll a bunch of putters. First time picking up a gtx and I was super impressed. It is SUPER stable. Just read an article that the moi of it is over 5300.

Did you happen to try the GT Max? The weight system is interesting, but I haven't had a chance to roll one yet.

I have the GTX Armlock arriving tomorrow. I'm excited about it. I'm currently using a Spider Tour L Neck that I converted to an armolock.

I like the idea of a GTX with an L neck/plumbers neck.

I have tried the spider tour, spider ex, and spider gt in plumber's necks. Always an issue with how little toe hang they have. If you don't need toe hang then they're great looking and performing. But if you need toe hang...

I wish they had a black one like grant horvat is using. prefer that over gray.

Yeah, his is a plumbers neck as well. They must have given him a tour issue head when he got fitted for it.

Myspider gtx...you can get whatever color and hosel you want.

Not on the armlock model. The armlock head is a much different head weight, along with much more loft and upright lie angle. There's no customization on it.

How are you getting along with your new spider armlock? I currently have a two-ball armlock myself but I'm looking to pick one of these up as well. A pic would be appreciated as well. Thanks

I've not put it in the bag yet, I've got to make some adjustments first. The first thing I did was bend it to 7* of loft and 76* lie angle. The stock lie angle says 72*, but mine came at 70*. That's way too flat for an armlock in my opinion. This part was quite worrisome though as the post on the head looks like it has some kind of plastic piece around the base that I though was for sure going to crack. It feels a little bit short at 40*, so I'm also going to extend it 1/2". I have a JumboMax grip coming for it that should be here in a day or two. I much prefer the large, flat surface of those versus the skinnier arm lock grips. But after the loft/lie adjustment, it looks great behind the ball. I've got high hopes for it. It will have a tough time unseating the Frankenstein Spider Tour Armlock I built though. Having a lot of success with it right now.

I'll get a picture at lunch of the GTX Armlock.

Here’s a couple pics. Also, I got to feeling froggy and decided to try and bend it further upright. I was able to successfully get it bent to 78° which is what my homemade spider tour is set up at. It feels perfect now. So if you have a trusted club builder, they should be able to bend this head very upright. I can’t wait to get it on the course. I have speed control issues at times with the soft insert of the Spider Red and really like the firmer feel of this insert.

Im playing the GTX after switching from the Hydroblast short slant and couldnt believe how stable it has been. Prior to my Hydro Spider X, I was gaming a Spider EX which faired well but the Pure Roll2 in the EX head didnt feel as good. I switched back to the Spider X (with 12g weights) and kept that in the bag until something came along that could top it. The GTX with Pure Roll2 feels quite a bit different than the EX with PR2, Im guessing due to the head material and weighting.

Thanks for the reply. I had to bend my two ball as well, ended up at 77 degrees.  Sure looks great though. Continue grinding

Yes, the Spyder GTX is extremely stable. On the practice green, I purposely hit off the toe and heel and made a couple of 30 footers - distance and direction did not suffer. Surprised.

I've not owned  a TM Putter. But I was on SAM with my gamer, and the instructor said I found this at a TM Introduction event. Try it. A few minutes later, he say's "You are rolling that better than your gamer."

I did a myspyder
