Odyssey 7 iterations and their differences...

   So, I recently went back to my WH OG 7 double bend putter. I do like it BUT I am more of a fan of plumber's neck hosels... I have seen a few Left-handed odyssey CH7's but they are few and far between. My other putter is an odyssey 5 that I converted to a plumber's neck via a conversion kit... I like it and was thinking I would convert my WH OG in the same manner. I do putt well with the WH OG double bend and am somewhat uneasy messing with a good thing... SO I was thinking I would look to grab another 7 to experiment with. WH OG's have come down in price but I see a lot of other oyssey "#7" models out there... Are they all inherently the same? I have read somewhere that the "7" XG had more weight up front blah blah blah... Aside from different inserts anyone know of big differences between models?

There is a difference in head size between various models. You've got a larger head, and a smaller head. Plus, don't forget the heavy heads.

besides the nano and exo mini, do you know the "reg" models that are smaller? I originally wanted to go with a ping Tyne but am not a strong arc stroke kind of guy... Tyne was just as big but hid the size better than my WH 7...

I don't see the Odyssey Seven Tri-Hot on the above list.  Biggest head I believe?

 

I have the OG Seven DB and Tri-Hot Seven DB.  The main difference I've noticed is the Tri-Hot is more stable on long putts.  And visually, I like the size just like I prefer 460cc drivers for the confidence factor.

 

Other differences are weighting (but both have changeable weights), shaft (steel vs stroke lab red) and OEM grip is larger on the Tri-Hot.
