I am hoping that the piece of trash that was here a few weeks ago at the Old Mac turn stand or someone he knows and was with sees this.. I had a red ink 1953 5 dollar bill worth over 100 dollars that they helped themselves to while I made their drinks. The monetary portion really doesn't matter to me, what matters is my father who has since passed gave it to me 10 years ago it had a very sentimental special meaning to me. I never imagined that a guest at a place like the Dunes could ever intenntially steal from my tip jar.. I can't reconcile the sadness and anger this has caused me and I can only pray that you see this and know what a terrible person you are. That is all...

Sorry someone took it. Was it on display separately or in the tip jar with other bills?

If it was in the tip jar, maybe someone knowing the value replaced the old bill with a new one as an even switch not knowing it's sentimental value to you or maybe even someone unknowingly made change with the cash in the jar for a larger bill.

Yea I am curious about this too. If it was on display I wouldn't have messed with it. If I saw it in the tip jar I would have reached in and taken it and replaced it with a newer $5 bill or maybe increased the tip to $10. I wouldn't have thought I was doing anything wrong.

I was recently in line at a store and the person ahead of me paid with a $1 bill from the twenties. I was next in line and the cashier gave it to me in change. Some people don't care about things like that. I do and was happy to get it.

we don't even need to get to that point. why in the ___ would you bring a precious memento to work; much less put it in a tip jar??

I want to believe nobody is dumb enough to put a meaningful bill in their tip jar as a display, but I can't imagine someone has enough time in life to create an account and make this dumb of a fake story.
