Hey yall!

New to the forum and thought I would post this here. Got some information from various CCs and not sure where to join (Young Executive).. Looking to meet a good group of young professionals based off the clubs listed here, and of course spend time golfing:

Mesa CC:

Initiation = 22k

Monthly Dues = 540

Moon Valley:

Initiation= 10k

Monthly Dues = 583 with unlimited carts

Tatum Ranch:

Initiation = 20k

Monthly Dues = 475 with $20 carts per 18

Phoenix CC:

Initiation = 10k

Monthly Dues = $780, Capital Fees = $113

I think the real question is where do you currently live or work. These all are different areas and can affect how much you will actually use the club. Mesa is also doing a renovation so might be cautious around added fee's they aren't showing with that.

I think we are starting to see the members leave at some of these clubs and they are trying to refill. Tatum Ranch is run by Arcis so definitely is full and can be more difficult to get a tee time. They also didnt allow guest play on the weekends before 11am in the winter.

Sterling Grove has the option to recall your membership if you aren't a resident just as an FYI.

Thanks for the insight. I am actually located around Kierland.

I can also throw in Ancala into this list. I am really looking for something that is a 15-20 min commute for me so I can utilize the gym facilities as well. I am a member at Lifetime right now and I would just cancel that membership and head to the golf club daily.

Based on being by Kierland I think you just narrowed the list down to Moon Valley or Tatum ranch especially if wanting to use daily with gym facilities. Mesa will have morning traffic down the 101 and Phoenix CC would have quite a bit of commute time unless if you work closer to them.

I do not know anything about Ancala outside of being an Arcis course as well.

I would definitely recommend though trying to get out for a round on both courses. I know @AdExec was a member at Moon Valley and might have more specific details.

Still a member at Moon Valley. Happy to answer any questions or have you out for a round.

FYI, I think Mesa is going to majorly increase rates and initiation soon. They are doing a full renovation to course. The initiation seems very low for Phoenix CC - it might be a 10k initial payment but I think full payment is around 40k+

Yes, it looks like Phoenix CC is initial 10k but 60k initiation because it is equity.

I just visited Moon Valley today. Saw a lot of younger folks playing which is nice since I would fit into the junior exec membership.

Really want a club where I can meet a group of friends and also have my S.O meet girlfriends as well as we are new to the area.

Would love to get a round in at MVCC, I will PM you!
