I mean I don't know how much he has improved technically but I bet if let's just say he stuck with Monte  years ago and got constant lessons he would have probably gotten way better than he is. I can't imagine how many swing thoughts and feels he has. However that's the point of the channel.

Brendon will sell anything he can because he’s running a business, but if you look at the direction his channel has gone overall, the quality of instructor in the last few years has risen dramatically from what he was doing at the beginning IMO.

I started really noticing a difference in Brendon’s swing for the better once he started working with Milo and Kwon. Positionally, his swing has similarities to what it was from day one. Dynamically, particularly through the ball, is very different. See below.

This is from today.

It is interesting that the big name teachers that Brendon has been with are often teaching him conflicting movements.  At least it seems that way to me watching the videos.

Pretty much every pro teacher I have met or observed knows the one best way to swing and I get the feeling from that them that they believe that most other pros don't know what they are doing.  They often have stories of fixing golfers that other teachers have screwed up.

The teachers I would most like Brendon to see for future episodes are Mike Adams / Terry Rowles, Dr. Wright / Larry Rinker and also Adam Young.  It would be interesting to see what swing and grip he would test out for with Mike Adams system and the same with Wright Balance.

I sent Brendon a message on YouTube asking him a similar question. I wondered what he had learned by being exposed to so many instructors, and theories about the swing.  What has helped and what has not?

 There was no reply.

I fail to understand the 90deg- ish comment. Possibly Brian can elaborate his point of view.

Personally I like the line of knuckles right under the shaft.

Hogan's fingers are 90° to the shaft, roughly. A lot of golfers grip it at about 30-45°.

Could you expand on this? Yes speed isn't everything but from watching his videos over the years his swing speed hasn't really increased.

Better inclination through the strike now. More of a jump stall previously. I’m not saying his swing is perfect now, but it’s a lot better.

And if you watch his takeaway it all starts there. In his early swing he stands flat footed and takes the club away with his hands first. In the later swing he starts the swing dynamically.

He's also has more of a squat with his hips and into his left in the transition vs before he just spun his right hip from the top. Not sure where you got those vid's but looks like work he did with Kwon. He still gets blocked out with his lead side and just extends through the hit but good enough. He also will probably never fix his inside takeaway.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
