Ping G15 Driver

I would like to know if anybody still playing Ping G15 Driver, if yes what’s your comments compare with today’s Drivers

If you're still playing a G15 driver you probably haven't hit a G425 or G430 enough to compare. I played a G10, G15, K15, G20 etc.

Don't let anyone tell you the G15 is as long, forgiving and breath taking as a 425 or 430 because it just isn't. G15 irons can hang with the new stuff, the driver can't. Better shafts, more forgiving and stupid long is the new stuff.

I’m with ghost. That’s a huge gap in tech. I tried the g430 max and it was ludicrous for forgiveness, the g15 is just not on the same planet.

 

However, if you hit the g15 well and were fit for it, then you may not gain much as the tech has increased forgiveness.

I own the g15, admit I haven't tried any of the newer ones but I love my g15 the thing hits like a truck. 300+ Yards easy.  I got it on the green on a par 5 once (357 yard dog leg right). I purchased a newer pxg driver and could hardly hit it 250 yards. Sticking with the old tech for now.
