Ping Glide 4 price drop?

Saw the Ping Glide 4 is now $129? Something else being released. Might have to buy a couple.

I've been a Glide player for the past 5-6 years, so when this happens I buy my next set of wedges and hold them. Just put my last new set of 3.0s in the bag last week and then I grabbed a new set of 4.0s. They will go into play in about 2 years. Win, win.

No. There's no measurable difference. Ping has kept the glides pretty much the same since inception.

Yep ... I just picked up a new set of SM8s this way.

2.0 & 4.0 used 8620 steel

Metal type makes zero impact on performance and with the ctp insert all of them feel very similar. Don't let club marketing get you.

Some of the more substantial differences that I can think of off the top of my head is that starting with the 3.0 they introduced the hydropearl technology, and the ES grind took the traditional Eye 2 shape.

You can believe whatever you like - 3.0 were a huge disappointment, for my game.
