Titleist VG3 irons 2016

Does anyone know the loft and lie specs for these irons? I can’t seem to find them anywhere online. I have found a couple articles that say the 7 iron might be 30 degrees, 4 iron 21 deg, and PW 44, but hoping for more official confirmation.

5 iron - 38" length, 24* loft, 62* lie

6 iron - 37.5" length, 27* loft, 62.5* lie

7 iron - 37" length, 30* loft, 63* lie

8 iron - 36.5" length, 34* loft, 63.5* lie

9 iron - 36" length, 39* loft, 64* lie

PW - 35.75" length, 44* loft, 64* lie

I was trying to remember. I got a set of the VG3 irons a few years ago and tracked the specs down and saved them in my phone. I'll have to go digging again.

Do you like them?  I see you're listed as a +1.5 handicap.  Are they not too much of a shovel or too strong lofted for your game?  Do they spin enough?  7 iron at 30* is kind of concerning (my current 6 iron is 30*).

I'm eyeing a used set just to try.  They look good and I could use some more forgiveness.  They look size and loft comparable to Mizuno JPX Forged.

Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.  Thanks!

I found it! I do like these irons as they aren't overly large and the stronger loft helps me get a little bit of extra distance since I'm not a big hitter. They aren't as soft as some forgings out there but I've always felt Titleist forgings were harder feeling than other brands.

Thank you so much.  The image is grainy and I can't read the specs.  I even tried downloading and zooming in -- perhaps GolfWRX's forum is reducing the image quality.  Can you email it to me by chance?  <edit: email address removed>

Sure, email sent. Not sure why the image quality is being reduced since the image is small 🤷

What do the numbers 1-7 mean in the last row?

I think it's just the iron number in the set. Basically it's counting each of the 7 irons 1-7.

You can get old Japan Titleist iron specs on www.titleist.jp  translate to English.
