Where to order putters with customized loft/lie?

I had my current putter built by Club Champion at +4 upright and +3 loft, but I haven’t found anywhere online that will build to these specs.  I was hoping to try out an Odyssey Triple Wide with the same specs, but I don’t want to buy a stock putter and have to take it somewhere to bend.  Will Callaway take custom orders for this?

Like you want the putter milled/made to that spec not bent? 

 

If so these putter makers will do that: 

 

- Kevin Burn (loft and lie)

- National Custom Works/3DP Putters (loft and lie) 

 

There are many others that will cut the loft into the face but necks are hand bent.

most are 69-71 stock but can vary

lofts are usually 2-4 but my oem uses 1.5 as stock

74 lie angle, 5 loft. Trying to order one bent to these specs instead of getting an off the shelf putter and having to bend it myself.

You can order that anywhere they just grab one off the line and bend it. If you stick with Odyssey just enter the specs on the website when ordering or just order through the fitter.

just order it direct from callaway/odyssey

The Odyssey website doesn’t provide the option to customize loft. Unless I’m looking in the wrong place.

It used to, just order from where you got fit and have them bend it, won't cost extra and they can always check again as part of the fitting.

No idea about Odyssey.

 

Ping PLD and LAB will both make putters to that spec (or any other) in my experience.  I imagine most custom places are similar.

 

(FWIW, my LAB is also at 74°.  The fitting guy, Phillip was pretty much, "O.K., if you're sure...."  Great service, would heartily recommend.)

call them- they usually can handle it that way; if not just buy it from where you got fit or any competent club builder/shop

Sometimes and it may not be the case for you however ask yourself am I being fitted for my current stroke that has flaws that the upright lie angle and extra loft are masking, or would I be better going to a good putting teacher to get the stroke/set up correct first?. A good example in a full swing iron fitting when a player has a massive slice and they bend the irons very upright to counteract the slice. My advice to anyone getting fit for clubs is are you getting fit for now or for the player you want to become?

Since your on this subject Id like to add most reputable fitting shops can adjust loft & lie, should be able to on all most all your clubs, irons & putters should be a given, but I'd also like to mention there are quite a few putter fitting labs or Putting specialist around the country and not only can they adjust your putter they can have you putt on something like a SAM Putt LAB machine to record and measure your stroke. Putting is BIG Business these days and for good reason. I live in the Mid West, and Nashville Tn. has a couple real nice putter fitting specialist, I'm sure the bigger cities Like Indianapolis, Louisville, St Louis, Chicago etc all have the same. Heck I think our local Club 18 which is a indoor golf simulator has a new Putter fitting, measuring system now.
