I'm just guessing but 7 warnings since you joined in 2022 may have something to do with it????

Greg, I joined in early 2020, going on five years ago, not 2022, and I have over 1,100 posts and an excellent reputation score of 816.

 

All the warnings I received came about from posting newsworthy information pertaining to LIV in the LIV related rowdy threads in which lots of GolfWRX members were warned in a global reprimand type manner. 

 

I sent GwrxMod a PM to make my request to have the 'content moderation' restriction lifted.  In reply GwrxMod told me: "Sorry I do not moderate the board. All questions must be referred to mods in the website help forum."

 

So, I'm following directions, and here I am in the 'website help forum' asking as I was instructed to do.

 

I'm looking for someone with authority to make a reasonable and sensible decision and lift the restriction. 

 

How about it @pga43 ?

The mods have discretion and its fully within their decision.  If they haven't answered, then that is an answer.  Repeated disregard for warnings is not relevant to the topic.

I fail to understand how the mods think this helps to improve anyone's opinion of GolfWRX or benefits its members in any way. If anything I think it displays bad decision making... Even a prison sentence has a release date after time has been served.

Is there not a 'powers that be' at Golf WRX that sees the injustice in this?  If not, I don't care to remain a member.

You've been a member for 3.5 years not "close to five."

 

And you've had 7 warnings in the last 14 months including what looks like some unofficial ones as well.

 

Some guys have been on here for going on 20 years without one warning.

Personally, I think the members of Golfwrx appreciate the mods for the difficult work they do (unpaid by the way) and have no issue when a member who seems to not be able to follow the rules gets slapped when they have 7 warnings in 14 months.

 

As a PGA of America member myself since 1983, I see your avatar is a PGA credential.  I hope that if you are a PGA member you'll quit whining and just maybe a Mod will decide when the time is right to change your status back to a full member.

 

Threatening to quit Golfwrx is not going to make this happen any quicker.
