Blade / plumber neck alignment

Does anyone else have an issue lining up a blade w a plumbers neck?

 

they always look super wide open to me at address. I don’t have an issue hitting them just can’t align them.

Many other neck options out there. I don't like plumber necks myself either. Everything for me is a flow or slant neck.

Having your eyeline more inside (closer to your feet and away from the ball) will likely change perception. Increasing shaft length could help too

I think it’s a bit of a myth that the eyes have to be over the ball

I've heard over to inside the ball myself, really depends on eye dominance and setup comfort.

Yea same issue. And then when I do line it up correctly, I end up tugging across the ball and pulling it because it feels like I need to compensate

I have the same issue. As more offset is added to a putter the more I aim it right. The less offset the more I aim left.

Yes! Ok. Glad to hear. I line up single bend shafts w no offset the best. Just very hard to find.

Agree. Also I feel like the angle of the videos can have such an effect on how things look. Perception vs reality

I’m the same. I’m using an Evnroll ER7 that has a tiny bit off offset, if you can find a nice Ping Craz-e putter it was no offset at all. Or if you want something new, Sub70 has 2 mallets with a single bend no offset options.

I picked up a sub 70 sycamore 005. it's maybe the best putter I have ever had. .  and I've tried em all. the single bend no offset shaft lines up so well to my eye.
