Help identifying Ping Anser

When was this putter made? Is this a later remake with no patent.

Tough to see that last number on the Serial. Is it a Zero or a Nine?

 

From what I understand the "0" in the third slot of the zip will designate something produced after 1966.

Try calling Ping. I was just listening to their podcast with the guy that is in charge of their Archives department and he was talking about all the old stuff they have there from way back when. They would probably be able to tell you all about it. I have a left hand putter similar to the one you have that I'm curious about.

90's Anser. Older Phoenix  models will say Karsten Mfg. Corp., or Karsten Co., (1967) in the cavity. They went to Karsten in the 90s.

Lets see the entire back of the putter to see the slopes of the sole.

Definitely the 1990's remake. In the 90's is when they also came out with the Ping Spiral Wrap grip.
