GolfMetrics Update Incoming

Just got an email from GolfMetrics. Looks like the app is being completely redone. There is a short video showing the features. Looks decent. Broadie was always accessible in the early days of this app, so I do think he deserves credit for that. I have another app on subscription well into this year so I won't be thinking about anything until that is done, but this looks handy.

Yes, I saw the same thing and have been using GolfMetrics for several years. Price is going up on an already pricey app, but I'm interested in how the GPS mode will integrate into the input and what other changes are coming for personal use.

Well that is good to hear. Current Golfmetrics user. 3-4 years now. I enjoyed the simplicity of easy data entry. Curious how that GPS part will work. Dashboards look great.

Pricing changes coming? I didn't get an email so I guess I will have to wait for details.

I wonder when/if this will be available.

They advertised 'coming spring 2024'.

Soon we will be closer to the start of summer than spring. 😀

Every shot tracker, shot tracking app, GPS device, GPS app or basically any piece of "tech" I've ever seen related to golf has initially been teased with what turns out to be ridiculously optimistic "coming in..." dates. Then once the product does actually drop it takes several updates before it's actually functional.

When I saw that initial teaser I figured they'll push some sort of update mid-late 2024 and by some time in early 2025 it will actually work. Or it won't.
