Tour Burner?

Maybe this belongs in another place, but anyone hit the new Tour Burner yet?

Any feedback would be great.

Just noticed they are on TGW.com, and Gofsmith.

I had our TMAG sales rep in of our shops this week and had a change to hit all the new stuff and I must say it's a good lineup. Especialy liked the the Limited Edition driver was really good.

I hit all three drivers....Both new Burners were areally good feel off the face, however its a REALLY Low spinning driver. I hit it a bunch and so did another one of our fitters...couldnt get the spin up enough. It goes very straight however.

CGB Limited was OK, nothing great or to go crazy about.

i know i'm one of the very few speaking here, but i actually like how the tour burner looks, it's not as techy or busy looking as some of these other radical new drivers are, it looks like it's only meant to do one thing, and thats go straight and far. can't wait for a chance to hit one.

I just got back from Reynold's Plantation, at the Taylor Made facility, and went through a fitting with the guys there. The new driver is very good, very straight and long. I was most impressed with the new Tour Burner IRONS!!! I wasn't expecting to think much of them, but with one shot, I was hooked. Nice high, but strong flight, and very nice feel. I have a set coming in a few weeks. Their new line is really good.

what's the difference between the burner xd's and the tour burner? does the tour have a narrower sole and less offset? what makes it tour?

For those that have hit the Tour Burner Driver...What did you think of the stock 60 gm shaft? I can't seem to find any info regarding the shaft profile. I have a Non TP Tour Burner on order but I still have plenty of time to have it built with another shaft.

love the tour burner. i had a proto model which was unfortunately closed, so i sold it. goes long and high and spins low. whats not to love?

then i stumbled on the xls tour, which plays similar to the tour burner, but has a better sound / feedback on sweetspot hits.

i thik if you you hit either one of the sweetspot (so, a perfect hit), the tour burner will be marginally longer. it flies marginally higher also. but just on feedback/feel alone, the xls tour trumps. on off center hits, they are about the same. both clubs i played with a whiteboard 63s, at 44.75' and a swingweight of D2.
