Car Service - Scotland

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good car service to and from Edinburgh city centerish to St Andrews (round trip)? Going to be staying in Edi for a few days, 1 day playing Muirfield, then going to St Andrews for 4 nights. Don't need a car while I am there, but was looking to book a car service to drive me there and back. 

 

Not really looking to take public transportation with multiple suitcases and golf bags (wife and me).

I can add my experience but it was from 2014- so I don't know how things have changed.

I was staying in Edinburgh in March and had one day to myself, so I planned to go to St Andrews for a day.

During the day I asked the hotel to book a taxi for me at 9pm to take me to St Andrews. It took roughly one hour?? Arrived at The Russel hotel - dinner, walk around etc. Headed down to line up @ 6am, there was no line up. I was already up and wasn't going back to sleep. The pavilion opened at 7am. Paid the green fee, rental clubs, etc. Played alone most of the round and was joined by an R&A member on the back nine. It started to snow for the last 3 holes. He took me inside the R&A and gave me a tour. Very nice gentleman and a great round of golf. Cleaned up, packed up and had the hotel call a taxi for my return trip.

I believe it was 70 pounds each way.

Again, this was before Uber and other share rides and since it was a spur of the moment trip I didn't look at other options.
