Beautiful!  How did the swingweight come out?  Does Epon sell different toe screws for swingweight purposes?

These definitely need tip weights. I had 2 10 gram tungsten weights on hand. They brought the saw up to d2. Needless to say, I ordered more to complete the set. Not sure if EPON sells the screws.

 

A little acetone will get that ferrule right. 😊

Sexy! I’ve only hit my EF-02Is in the sim so far. Not sure when they’ll get to the course. Steelfiber i95 s PR. I’ve liked them so far but a tad clicky - not like the 70x line, but not like the 50x either, which I have side by side by side. Would love to know your take! Dig your ferrules too!

went to the range and compared to my other iron set. Definitely clicky! That's ok.

I got a round in with my EF-02is and they were buttery and didn’t notice the click at all on the course. Beauties. Did a gapping session and these are money for me. Seriously will threaten my 225s - better misses.

Did you have issues with the swing weights?

No. I am not too sensitive to swing weight and I like the dispersion patterns so far as built (+1/4”, std loft, -1* lie). I also just checked my build request and don’t have a req’d swingweight written down, just the raw component parts.

 

I find these easy and smooth to swing. I put another 18 on them today and the ball is absolutely exploding off the club face. A well struck 225 is a heavenly marshmallow to me. I don’t have the same feedback as the 225s with px io 5.5, but a well struck ball with the EFs, I can barely feel anything other than divots like pelts. At least three times today I was sure I chunked it way short because of the half acre of land that ended up in my grooves, but my playing partners were growing tired of me “fatting” it only to end up w a GIR, or near enough. 
 

I have to say, that’s *exactly* what I was hoping for with this set. Something a bit more forgiving than the 225s. I think they’re a lot more forgiving without giving up too much bag appeal. A little more heavy metal vs the opera. Certainly confidence inspiring…powerful.
