Switch to Titleist T150s or make your new existing Titleist T100s lofts 1.5 or 2 degrees stronger

If you had new T100s (2024) but wanted the stronger loft of the T150, would you sell your T100s and buy T150s or just have the lofts adjusted at the expense of losing bounce?

Having played 620 MBs since 2019, I bought the new 2024 T100, 3-PW because lofts were only 1' stronger.  Had the older T100S set, version of T150 and didn't like them because of too much spin.   

 

Anyway, I haven't messed with T150's but suspect there are various nuances to the club head that may be problematic, depending on your skill level.  Not sure what the T150 bounce is but suspect it's similar to T100 progressive, meaning it's minimal throughout the set.  

 

Bending strong 2', takes off bounce, means the leading edge will be that much closer to the ground.  Tendency to dig will depend on your setup and mechanics.

If I had a disposable $1500 I would buy the 150s.

I’d be concerned about losing 2° bounce.  Suggest bending just one iron to test before doing anything else.

Or do nothing and enjoy the fact that your T100 irons fly higher, spin more and hold more greens. 😉
