Final Four - Arizona Golf Question

I am looking for one early morning 8amish round Sunday the 7th. I am a 6 handicap staying near Arizona Country Club. Any suggestions?

For lack of qualifications (time restraints, cost, distance willing to drive). Play Grayhawk Raptor course. It is just 20 mins up the 101 from where you are.

There’s tons of info on the Southwest Forum. As said, it helps to know budget, how willing you are to drive, etc.

I have a 2pm flight out on Sunday. Would like to stay under $200 if possible. I am trying to tee off at 7:30 to make sure I am done and can head straight to airport. I played both Greyhawks and loved them. Those are the only two course I have played.

Arizona Grand is $125 but reviews aren't great.

Raven is also close to airport but looks like $219 is price and I could make that work if worth it right now.

Hard to find a decent course under $200 this weekend. Everything should be in prime condition. I would avoid Az Grand. Raven is a tree lined and not desert style but lots of fun. I prefer Papago for something close to the airport but tee sheet is booked.

If you can find a time at 7:30 at Raven, I would take it.

I’d agree, I think Raven is best bet, maybe Legacy (across the street) but last time I played there it was 5+ hours and Raven is better a course anyway.

The Raven for sure. Despite that it doesn’t “look” like a desert course, it’s a good course. And no doubt you will enjoy it.

Thank you all, played the Raven yesterday morning at 7:28 in just under 4 hours got lunch and made my 2pm flight. Course was great. Fun layout. Fairways were perfect, greens have a lot of pitch marks but rolled true. Place was packed about time I left, Charles Barkley teed off as we pulled out.

I saw so many more celebs this weekend than I did during the Super Bowl week last year. It was a bit crazy this weekend (especially where I live in Arcadia)
