Ping ISI-K shaft step patterns

I found some ISI-K irons at the GW this afternoon. They don't have the original grips and the shafts are unlabeled.

TrueTemper logo seen close to the end.

5i is about ten inches to the first step, the rest are two inches apart.

 

Any ideas what these are?

I could be wrong, but I think they came with proprietary Ping shafts, maybe made my TT. I had to reshaft my Ping S59 8 iron, they had to go with a comparable TT shaft. That said, if the price is right on the ISI set you saw, grab'em 🙂

With ISI irons, there were two stock shafts, the ZZ65 and the JZ.  Finding out the step patterns for each might require burnt offerings at the altar of the Google gods, or contacting Ping.

Gave my Zing set with JZ stiff shafts to my son in law. Silver with red shaft labels. I will get a measurement and get back to you. Did ISI’s come out after ZING 2’s or about the same time?? Pretty sure ZING was 91-94, ZING 2 95-99.
 

  PING sure likes to march to the beat of their own drum on most everything they do. Shafts get as confusing as zip code dating on putters. Think I read early on JZ shafts were unlabeled and only stiff flex. Then was a period labeled reg or stiff. Then another unlabeled era but they had the color coded deal going with either red or blue. Then there’s a gold label but don’t think that’s a JZ shaft. I’m no expert on any of this just read stuff here and there investigating clubs I’ve found.

ISI were the set that followed the Zing2.

Okay if this helps. My ZINGS are 4-7 years older. Have JZ shafts with chrome black and red in labels. I’m told they are stiff flex. 
First step approx 8.75 in from hozel.

Then gets funky 

4 x 1 7/8 in steps (approx)

2 x 1.5 in steps

1 x 1

1 x .75

1 x .5

1 x 1.5 (JZ shaft label) 

3 x .5

1 x .75

then grip

5 iron total length approx 38.5

it's a broken set, 3,4,5,6,8 irons.

our local GW is notorious for breaking up sets and grouping the same numbered irons into sections of their display.

I went back the next day but the 7 & 9 weren't there.

also realized these ISI's were made for a very tall player. the 5i is 40".

 

the best part of the second visit was finding a Ruger Titanium GBB driver and some decent Cally FW's.
