Lab Mezz is really incredible

I really have not had a chance to handle a lab putter in left hand. I have a dicks sporting goods in my town and that’s it. Today I stopped by a pga superstore while traveling. There sat a single lefty mezz in standard type length. Press grip. 
 

I really didn’t want to like it. The shape, the center shaft, the price. 
 

dammit folks the thing just works. It just doesn’t want to move. Line up and it just goes. I sank putt after putt with it and walked away. Couldn’t stomach that price tag without a fitting. 
 

very eye opening experience. Now I’m googling up other torque balance options that are not gonna run me a half G. Seeing the edel E-1 2 3, axis rose, toe up. Maybe none of them are the same as the mezz but are a far cheaper experiment.

You use a putter more then any club in your bag. Why would it not be the most expensive club in the bag?

The Mezz Max was the first LAB putter I tried and I was hooked.  Did the online fitting (Very convenient and accurate) and ordered one.  I am a complete LAB convert and wish I had come across them sooner.  They are expensive but you will absolutely not regret it.  You know it works so why seek out something else that is cheaper and does not work the same way??  If you know your length and lie angle you can maybe find one on the second hand market or on the lab outlet.

I’ve owned an older SeeMore, an Axis1 Rose, an Odyssey Toe Up, and now a Mezz.  I had the same experience(s) on the carpet of the PGASS.  I finally got to borrow one for a couple of days.  That sold me.  I don’t like the cult status, but I sure do like the putter.

There is no shortcut on this.  You either get a LAB (you are wise to get properly fit) or you get something that does not work like a LAB, despite language that sounds kind of similar.  
 

Get fitted and go on eBay - I see lots of perfectly-good LABs there for less than $400.  Or go to labgolfoutlet.com and keep an eye out for something in your specs.  

An Edel is not a LAB.  An Axis-1 is not a LAB.  Nothing else has the patent.
