Ball help...possibly 24 Tour BX vs 23 Prov1/X vs??

Good evening WRX fam, I am in need of some help. I am currently playing the 2024 Bridgestone tour BX and its a good ball so far numbers wise on a GCQ. However, on course, with driver especially it gets a little too high in the air. So I have been playing a bit with some other options, though only indoors right now as I am in NJ and haven't had a ton of course time. 

 

ProV1 seems like a logical step because aerodynamically it is suppose to be a lower flight (based on their claims anyway), but spin is a touch lower with shorter irons than I am used to. Ex. 8 iron is usually around 7500 with 48* land angle minimum but with ProV1, more like 7000 

 

Prov1X solves the spin issue but aero wise i am worried it'll fly just as high as Tour BX. 

 

I'm all ears for those of you who have played these balls or any others that may fit the bill.

 

116-118 Driver SS (172-176 ball speed) 12-13 launch, 2500ish spin 

7 iron is about 125-127 ball speed, 18-19 launch with tour BX 6400-6500 average spin rate

Probably worth looking at the new TP5 as well.

Two balls you should try.  TP5 and CTX.  Both are truly excellent.  One will feel more firm than the other, but flight and spin will be comparable.

Interesting about the CTX. How has it compared to your previous ball?

I concur!  But the new TP5 is hotter than the 2021 model and will def lower traj some over balls like BX and TP5X

I previously played Chrome Soft X so, not much of a change for me.   I've been switching between CT, CTX a good bit.  I love the softer feel and distance of CT but, the CTX has a little more iron control for me.  (I need spin)

 I liked chrome soft x in the past. Is the CT or CTX closer to CSX?
