Hybrid to minimize a draw

Next golf season (it's ski season here in Salt Lake now hehe) I am probably going to use a hybrid for the first time. I am going to start using a gap wedge also, so I am going to replace two clubs with a hybrid (5W and 3I most likely).

 

I have heard that most hybrids have a draw bias. I draw the ball with my long irons and fairway woods typically. The draw is more pronounced with these clubs.

 

I would like to greatly reduce the amount of draw with a hybrid. I would like to hit a slight draw.

 

I saw one hybrid with a weight system. It is a Taylor Made. I guess this is one option, although I think this club did have a draw bias at address.

 

Hybrids were really popular this year. I was surprised that every pro I asked about them was using one and highly recommended getting one. It'll be one of my first new golf toys when the season starts.

 

Any recommendations? Keep in mind that one reason why I am getting a hybrid is because I will be using four wedges...too many clubs hehe.

i recommend the taylormade rescue dual tp models. the rescue dual is draw bias because of the offset. the tp model has less offset so it less draw bias and you can compensate with the weighting system. if you are going a for a 5-wood/3-iron replacement then look at the #3 19*. you can set it for a draw bias and if it too much draw you can set up for fade.

You have to try the Nickents. The set up square and are neutral (may even be a little fade biased) and come in a zillion lofts. The Hogans are also pretty neutral, as are the Sonartec MD.

... take a long look at the bridgestone j33 utility. it is a very neutral head, and the longest 18*-19* hybriid i have hit.:

Ive read numerous reviews (on other boards) that the Bridgestone is very anti hook, LOOONNGGG and forgiving.

im gonna agree with the others and say that the nickent is the way to go if you want to minimize a draw

I hooked the crap out of the TM hybrids, even the TP models. When I went to the Nickent, it was just what I was looking for . I can draw it if I want to, but mostly I try to hit a soft fade, which I could never do with the TM's

I will try the Nickent if I can. I think the hybrid would have a higher ball flight than my 3 iron/5 wood that I will replace. This alone would probably help minimize my big draw that I had this season with the 3 iron / fairway woods.

 

I could hit a 4 iron fairly straight, but it was rare that I hit a straightish 3 iron that was solid....lots of hooking going on.
