Chris can you stop posting so many cool putters. I have been trying desperately to not look at this thread or think about my m10. Damn waiting is harder and harder each time!

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the question. The answer lies in the different, more aggressive radius on the heel side than the toe. When milling the back of the putter at an angle tangent to the flat in the middle of the sole, and the face, the heel gets "pinched in" as the radius takes the sole at the heel higher compared to the toe. The raised toe also contributes to the look and effect as it looks more prominent.

Ditto for you my friend! And I'll start posting photos here and in our Bobby Jones threads, starting there, since that's where I ended up spending the majority of time while Jim and Ed manned the indoor putting green in the Equipment Test Center.

I'll post some new Garage and ART MACHINE putter photos here later this afternoon.

Hey Guys,

 

I hope everyone is having a great week! I wanted to share with you a Custom MACHINE that was just completed for Jimmy at USAMILLED.COM

 

This is the first Bobby Jones Bespoke ART putter (in progress photos taken right after taking it out of the oil bath and assembling as shown).

 

This is a new Grand Slam model GS-4 milled from Ocean Wave Damascus Finished in our Hand Torched Oil Quenched Finish.

 

This putter is also hand stamped “BESPOKE 1” designating the first Custom GS-4 model.

 

The weight is 365 grams as shown, but can be adjusted up or down, also depending on the hosel selection. The medallion is Marine Brass, but can be swapped out

 

The Grip is a Laser etched Bobby Jones Leather Grip and the Headcover is a Laser Etched Logo Baseball Leather Headcover.

I hope everyone is having a great week. I wanted to share with you a Custom MACHINE GARAGE Putter that Dave built for the PGA Show and is currently available.

 

This MACHINE Features a Custom 303 Stainless M4 Meritage Head with a 303 Stainless Megalodon XL Flange with Custom Pinstripe Milling and a Custom Skeletonized Pill Cut Plumber Neck Hosel.

 

The Medallion on this MACHINE is a Custom Copper Medallion.

 

The Head and Flange have both been finished in our Antique Charcoal Rainbow Torch Finish and the Hosel has been finished in a Rainbow Torch Finish.

 

The Pinstripe Milling on the Flange was done by Hand on the Bridgeport Mill.

Here's a simple, clean MACHINE putter packed with modern features:

This is an M10 Adjuster, in 1018 Carbon Steel, with Hot Salts Gunmetal Blue finish. It's paired here with a medium short plumber neck. A single sight line on the topline. Head weight is 353 grams as shown with steel weights which are adjustable up or down using light aluminum or heavier Tungsten weights. It can be further customized, fit and adjusted with Delta Mods to change the loft, lie and toe hang.

This bad boy is available for immediate play.

First up is a putter for one of our great Authorized Fitters, MK Golf Technologies in San Antonio, Texas, a Golf Digest Top 100 Fitter and a great supporter of MACHINE.

This putter is a M2A Converter, with Custom Mokume Gane Face Insert, a Mokume Gane Logo Medallion with custom engraving, a misted and hand torched "Golden Hour" finish. The putter is assembled with a Heavy FatBack, melted bumpers, and a Medium Long Full Offset Square Cut Plumber Neck hosel.

OK, next up is a RestoMod of Billet Copper M10 Mini 1 of 1 (one of only 5 M10 Minis made).

The owner needed a refinish (few small dings), a fresh look and wanted to try a new neck with slightly different specs and also experiment with the Delta Mods…*

So here is M10 Mini Billet Copper 1 of 1 RestoMod with Disco Ball Hosel in lightly polished 303 stainless, and a new Experimental Hot Sauce Patina. Fit here with 1 degree Delta Mod set at 1 degree flat. He's getting more Delta Mods in square (toe hang adjustment only), 0.5 degree change, 1 and 2 degrees of change. We also increased the head weight to 360 grams with Tungsten weights and a heavier hosel.

Thanks Dave! I am just waiting for my order to be finalized and I am ready to send my deposit. I am already getting excited to get my putter and the order hasn't even officially been put in! How will I make it 4 to 5 weeks??????????
