When your wife calls you that she's parked on the side of the road and her car is engulfed in flames, you ask her if she's alright and if she has called 911, then you proceed to finish the 17th and 18th hole. Then you drive to pick her up and you're really upset because you missed your personal best by 1 stroke since you made bogey on both 17 and 18.

• when you try to justify your golf spending to your wife by saying that you saves $5 by playing a twilight round, and that you played 2 extra holes.

• when you ask your wife where the nail polish remover is, so you can work on your paint fill.

• when your wife finds golf tees, not money in the laundry.

• when you as your wife to hold a golf club, because you think it's sexy.

• when you jump out of the golf cart because you "think" youo just saw a free ball in the woods.

• when your signature on your work email has your WITB w/ pics.

• when people ask you on Monday mornings "how'd you shoot 'em".

BTW: my current favourite ballmark repair tool is the one that came "free" of charge with the almost ridiculously expensive green fee at Tralee CG in Ireland.

Pizza is on the way and the girl is at school til about 5, but she said she will try and be home earlier, since I am 'sick', she knows my trick, and wants to spend some time with me on the couch.

In addition, you can work golf analogies into EACH and EVERY cell biology lecture over the course of a semester! Your office has a wall display of old persimmon clubs. There is a large "Life is Good" banner behind your desk with the smiley putting "Jake" on it ...

You go out and play the round of your life and go home and list you clubs for sale/trade

There is a foot of snow on the ground but you just have to go out and swing the club you just had re-shafted!!!!!
