Strata balls

Just was given 3 dozen....how good are they?

Just curious what peoples opinions are on the Strata line of balls. I have heard great things about balata.

Can anyone shed some light on the performance of these balls?

Which model? The Tour Ace was a really good ball. The professional 90 was also decent. The performance is more iron and short game oriented though, the Stratas were not super long off the driver.

What is this Strata balata, something Like 10 years old now?

It must be about 10 or so years old. The "Tour Balata" they released was a heck of a short game ball, but man did it blow away off the driver. One or two swings and the ball would be in the shape of an egg.

 

I used to play the Strata Tour Ultimate awhile back and always though that they were some of the best I'd ever hit to this day. I prefer a very very soft feeling ball though.

I recieved some Tour Ultimate +, Tour Professional 90's, and Tour Ace's.

So far the Ultimate's have been my favorite.

 

I went ahead and bought 5 dozen more.
