All of the WhiteBoard shafts have a flower band, unless they quit putting them on the new ones. All of the real ones I have seen have had them though.

The ones from Callaway do not have the flower bands nor does Ping.

The shaft on the MRC site has a flower band on it, and all 3 of my WhiteBoards had the flower band on them.

I hit a G10 with a WRX installed WhiteBoard, and it had the flower band. I have not seen a WhiteBoard that didn't have the flower band.

there was another thread and what it said there is that if you custom order it then it does not have a flowerband. they also say in that thread that not all diamana's have them, kinda weird.

 

its amazing how much attention a little band of flowers gets.

What about the Blueboard? The one I just picked up does not have the flower band but one I saw a few weeks back did.

Nice find. In regards to the OP, I haven't seen a Whiteboard without a flower band before. The previous quote proves it's just aesthetics.

Callaway does not offer the flower band in any of the diamana's. I will take pics tomorrow.

I had an IMIX FT5 with Whiteboard that didnt have a flowerband. I've had custom drivers from PING and NIKE and both had the band although the D2 that I have with WB 83X doesnt have a band either....weird. All were custom ordered from my shop so theyre not fake unless Titleist and Callaway are getting fakes.

Those OEM mentioned are using 3.5t (350 tip) and 4"t (4" paralel tip) white board with no Flower band.

 

All 5ct white board do have flower band.

 

4"t are for bore through head such as Titleist head, They tipped 1/2-3/4 inch for callaway. However, they still play softer compare to the standard 5ct IMO.

 

A lot of fitter got a complaint from a better players customers on that issue. This is show that a fitter need to understand every single shaft charracters and differences to be able to pin point the correct fitting and build it with the right result. But yet at the end of the day, a consistent set up is the one have the right FEEL.

 

A touring pro tipped 1.5" 4"t S flex hoping to play as a normal X on a FT's head, he end up only between S/X flex only. he said " no wonder i felt loose and not as straight as my other one with 5ct version".

i have one without the flower band so what do that mean it is a 73x whiteboard and supposedly it came off tour the club head is a adams insight tour prototype df 8.5
