If I ever put a sasquach in my bag, please somebody do something! Personally I'm at the point right now, that I think that most of the drivers out there right now are just totally ridiculous. I think the game has suffered a little, the traditions have been left behind, just listen to the comentators its all about the 350 yard drive now. Where does it end? Look at that sasquatch, it's not a golf club, its a joke imo. seriously. Enough said.

 

funny thing. some may appreciate this. I bought a set of vintage macgregors about a month ago, i've been toying with them for about a month now, they are georgeous. i'd gladly play them if everybody else did. I actually went out last week and hit some with the driver, it was awesome. About 2 days ago, I picked up my TM510 after not looking at it for over a month, and the think looked like a basketball on the end of a shaft and back in October I swore I'd get a bigger headed driver in 06. Talk about a optical illusion.

I'm a little confused here ... What's the big deal with Tour vs. Retail ...

We all know tour players tweak & tweak & tweak (get the picture) their products

to their own specification ...

 

We'll never in Retail get to use what Tiger uses ... And if we do, the weekend

player will never know ... I don't thinks so ...

 

Most Tour Players have sutle differences from the next one ... And unless you're

Tiger, Phil, etc. who can demand certain/such things, then the General Pub is

going to get what the General Pub Gets ...

 

We'll never play Tiger Ball unless Nike releases it ... That's why they release

a Standard Platinum ball. That's why most of those guys have (PROTOTYPE)

next to their equipment of choice ..

Maybe you should also turn off your electricity, running water, and resort to "horse and buggy" transportation too. :cheesy: J/K, but seriously, things have changed a lot. Large clubheads, moveable weights, etc. It's just evolution. The game is about honor and sportsmanship, not the equipment.

Yep, I was wrong. However, that thing with the left handed models in lofts of 9 and 9.5 is kinda weird. Why would they do that?? I thought when I referenced it before there was a TP and TP tour they had listed, but I said then they had 8 models listed. They still have 8 listed but don't have a TP, retail and tour version as I noted in the other thread. Maybe I was wasted when I posted that :cheesy: I guess I just got confused somewhere....
