A lot of reasons....

 

1) they had been refurbished at some point before I bought them

2) PING's indestructable finish

3) cleaned them after every round

 

Sold them last week on eBay. They are in Minnesota now.

How does that SM Mini work with 13 clubs in it? Do the clubs get tangled easily. I can't find one around here to try out but am real interested in getting one for my league since I only carry 12 clubs.

The less clubs you carry in the Mini, the better off you will be. That's what I've learned with mine. 12 shouldn't be a problem.

 

The stand mechanism in these are great too. They don't lean over as much as the other SM bags and they have the little triangle feet on the legs. I think you'd like it. I got mine for $60, but it was an 06 model. I am getting ready to put it back in play as it is heating up around here and has been very humid the past couple of weeks.

 

The newest bag in my collection is a Vantage Army Camo. Pics below. Not sure who has more, the wife and her purses or TheBUNKY and his golf bags..... :shok:

No scoring lines through the middle of the face like the conforming r580xd's have.

 

Mine only has scoring lines in the outside area around the face.

Some updates since the last time I did anything with this thread. Nothing major, just the run of the mill old boring retail stuff. It gets the job done for me.

 

Tinkering with the G10 4 wood. Picked it up on Monday for less than half the new price. It's in great shape for now. I still wish I had my old V-Steel in either a 3 or 5 wood. I don't need much more in-between Driver and 4 hybrid. Averaging 200-205 with my 4 hybrid. I don't need much more on my home course than that. It's too tight with OB on both sides on many of the holes.
