B330-RX >100mph

Been playing the B330S (last years version) and have posted some of my best rounds with it. Bought some of the RX's and here is my thoughts on it.

Driver speed 107mph. 8 iron 155-160 yds B330-S

1) Feel driver.....by far, from the impact on the face you can see how much I was deforming the ball. Yes it is long...long as the 330-S no.. 10-12yards shorter on average....think Stay Puff!! >100mph

2) Iron flight is waaayyyy to high i was like WTF with my iron shots. About the Same distance as the 330-S but it hits and releases on the greens, where as the S will one hop and stop.

3) Wedges.......they need to remove the Tour from the <<Tour B330-RX>> On par with the NXT Tour as of spin around the green but not in a long shot a Tour Ball.

4) Putting was soft like a ProV1..nice feel

5) Durability...just as good as the B330-S

6) My bro-in law who swings around 90mph shot on of his best rounds ever with the sleeve I gave him. he cant spin his wedges so I didnt really matter If it did anyway.

7) Great ball ,but below my playing ability and swing speed.

8) This RX is the U-tri tour for a fair comparison.

Iam going to exchange One box of RX's for the new 4 Piece 330-S and report back.

Overall I could not get the "tour" trajectory like the B330-S that I prefer.

I had some better results with the ball. I played both the RX and the S yesterday and felt spin on both balls around the green were good. Eight iron stopped on a bounce and the greens were not conducive to spinning it back. S definitely felt firmer but not too firm. Steve

People coming from a Top Flight like my bro-in-law was impressed with how much spin he was getting around the green with the RX. I was dissapointed with the green side ability with my spin milled lob wedge. Great ball for some but I'm going to stick with the S..

Also I feel the swing speed for the ball is 85-95mph. I think the <105mph might be a stretch..

Based on what I read of the RX, I didn't even try them because my SS numbers are very similar to yours. I have tried and played 2 rounds with the 2008 B330-S and it's a VERY good ball. It's comparable to the HX Tour I've been playing but it holds up much better on full wedge shots. I'm very impressed with the new 330-S.
