Ignite or Sasquatch

Now that the price of Ignites has gone pretty far down. Do you think I should get the Ignite 460 or the Sasquatch?

Personaly I would chose the Ignite. The SQ is just a hunk of junk. So stick with the ignite.

I have had the same feelings for a while. I think I'm going to upgrade to the sasquatch instead of getting a cheap 460. Other that the cosmetic disapproval by many people the verdict seems to be very good on the sasquatch. It seems the people that are able to get past the looks love the new sasquatch, so for me I think I can stand the unconventional look to get a few extra yards.

While I have not hit one, the SQ Tour looks just like the Ignite 460 that I owned. If you are choosing between an Ignite 460 and an SQ Tour, I would go Ignite. It's a really great head. Anti-left and low spin with a mid ballflight. Get plenty of loft. It hits lower than you might expect (at least for me it did, even with 10.5º loft.) Stock Ignite shafts are bad news. Plan on a reshaft.

You could go either way. In my opinion the Sasquatch is ridiculously ugly but despite that it does put up very good results. If you are willing to sacrifice looks go with the SQ and if you want something traditional go with teh ignite

I tried an Ignite last year and it was not for me, no surprise there since Nike drivers have never worked in my hands. I looked at the SQ several times, the appearance was bothersome but after trying a few SQ I bought one. I like it a lot after using it at a heated outdoor range. It launches mid high and far considering I was using frozen range balls and the temp was about 25°F.

 

I don't even notice the grey powerbow now, which was the thing that bothered me at first.

Anyway Hacker, I just recently picked up an Ignite 460 at a really good deal and have been posing questions to members that were former Ignite users but currently using the SQ Tour. The difference I have been told by people on several different forums was the SQ Tour is a tad more forgiving and has a little less spin. Spin could be subjective as some are steep/shallow swingers. The Ignite 460 for me has been a cannon with great feel, sound, and distance. It's going to have to be settled in a launch monitor for me

When I was looking for a new driver I tried just about every big-time player in the driver market. When I look at a driver I want to know right away if I mis-hit it, where on the clubface I hit it. When I tried the SQ I couldn't tell where I was hitting it on the clubface. I wasn't getting the distance I did with the other drivers. I tried it a couple of times but in the end I would have to say for a feel player I would chose the Ignite. When I hit the ignite I could feel where the ball was on the face. Thats my $.02

both are sweet.. the sq tour has a better feel and more forgiveness. the ingite is very anti-left. for the price go with the ignite...
