I clean my clubs after every round, I am very particular about some things, and this is one of them. My clubs even have an order that they go in my bag, but with that being said, if my irons get dinged up or look played with even after cleaning them, so be it- thats what I bought them for.

 

 

I keep them clean, but otherwise, I consider the battle scars to be badges of honor. These guys have been to war and lived to tell the tale. I have a brand new set of Titleist AP2's coming next week, and I'll treat them like a carton of eggs for maybe a month... then the glow wears off and they'll just be another set of irons. I keep the head covers on my woods to protect the graphite shafts, and the main body of my putter is aluminum, so it needs the head cover too, but the rest just face the world as nature intended. :good:

 

 

I'm with these guys. Wash my clubs religiously (between shots, after each round), but ding here or there just adds to golf. I think irons (at least blades) are supposed to look used.

I to have a Bennington bag. Each club sets in a rubber slot and locks in place so it does not move around. You can have up to 2 wood covers off without them hitting each other. Very good for us anal types. I clean my clubs after every shot. I like them to look nice. Take good very good care of my golf shoes and ever thing else golf.

 

I do drive a cart like a wild man. Have had riding partners beg me to slow down. With me its wide open down hill or up. When I hear the clubs clanking I know there not mine. So pedal to the metal.

Found out the hard way, just put 12" wheels and low pro tires on my cart. Whole lot more club jingle going on wide open. Very rough riding! (At least on our p.o.s fairways)
