I always seem to buy a pair before the others wear out.

So, I must say I feel vindicated. I have only 2 pair of spikes at the moment. One pair is a white/gray Puma J. Lindeberg and the other is the Black Concorde GTX. I am looking to add a pair of the Swing GTXs.

 

The gents on my league wouldn't know how to react to some of you. My Lime green Puma bag got some reactions. I also thought I was bad because I made my own logo and had it embroidered on a couple of flex-fit hats. I am trying to get a custom buckle made if anyone has access to CNC or laser-cut type of machine.

 

For those of you who have 20+ pair of shoes, does your wife or significant other have any room in the walk-in closet or did you need to convert that spare bedroom to your pesonal dressing room?

I 'only' have 12 pair of golf shoes, but I will answer anyway, because I have more than 40 pair of shoes, if you count all my shoes :derisive:

 

8 pair of classic Timberland winter nubuck boots, 12+ pair of sneakers/running shoes, 4 pair of tennis shoes, 10 pair of suit shoes - I think that's about it :blush: ....... :crazy:

 

I'm the only guy my girlfriend has ever met in her life, who owns as many pair of shoes and as much cloths as she does, so we just split the space in the 'walk-in closet'

1 pair of FJ lowpro (black and white and pink)

1 pair of Nike Shox (white with orange for my Gator days)

1 pair of Callaway (white with silver-I got these as a tee gift at a tournament and they suck)

1 pair of Puma (navy, light blue and white-not sure of the model but they are cute).

 

7 pair in rotation. My black and white and tan and white pair need to be replaced or rotated out. The FJ Contours are the most comfortable, just not the most fashionable. I actually get most of my golf shoes (and clothes) on sale online since I am frugal.

1 pair, until they wear out. Unless it's a different color, same brand, "model". I wouldn't want to play with 50 different pairs of shoes. When I'm in the fairway, a bunker, standing on a steep slope, or whatever the case may be, I want a consistant feel. Like, if I'm on a slope, I know my FJ's will NOT slip or react a certain way. If I was standing on that same slope, same position, etc., with say some Callaways or whatever, even a different model pair of FJ's, it'd be different.

I have 3 pair, but wear 2 out of those 3 pair. There are club-hos, and there are shoe-hos.....My son would fall in the latter category. Out of this group, he has out grown the bottom right three pair, but games all of the other pair. This picture is NOT including the ones he has on at the course today as well!
