How many pairs of golf shoes do you wear? (POLL)

I have 7 pair in very good condition. I play on average 4 times a week and rotate shoes. I belong to 2 different clubs and keep 3 pair at each location, and one pair in the car in case I play a different/strange course. 3 pairs of FJ, 2 Ecco, 2 Nike.

I have 3 sets of irons, 1 each at home courses, 1 set at home for unexpected play at a different course. The sets are similar but different models.

3 pairs of TW SP 8's - white w/ black swoosh, black w/ silver swoosh, all black
1 pair of FJ dry joys - white w/ black saddle
hopefully santa lets me build my own FJ icon's - black croc w/ gray-ish saddle croc

No matter the handicap, a golfer must always match his belt to his shoes.

I love Adidas. 5 pair and counting. Up until last year, I would have maybe 2 pair of golf shoes on hand, max. My fiancee has passed along her shoe addiction to me (After 8 years together, it was bound to happen).

Just bought my first pair of Foot Joys. Got the Contour Series Blk/Tan/White on clearance for $60. They are really comfortable around the house so far. I used Nike past two seasons and my TW SP-8s are going to be my mudder shoes now.

I own about 35 pairs of golf shoes, one of the perks of being in the business is that you get a lot of shoes over the years, and they just seem to collect in the closet.

I am quite proud of my collections considering im living off a student loan income. Im currently trying to get Black Widow tour softspikes in all of my shoes.

I just picked up a pair of the white and green Asics. By the end of the season I should have the other 3 styles in addition to a pair of the 2010 Mizuno line in black.

Have about 20 pairs in rotation-- mostly Classics and Classics Dry. Don't need quite this many but since they closed the factory, pick up new ones whenever I see a decent deal on a pair. Hard to change from these-- have been playing in them for over 40 years, and don't feel quite comfortable in the "athletic" style shoes. Have three pairs of the Ecco world class, and they are nice but pricey. Only thing that compares at all with the old Footjoy line. Even the goretex ones need to sit in the shoe trees for a couple of days after playing in them regardless of conditions, so only really NEED about 6 or 7 pairs, but what the hell. tom

I'm usually wearing my Adidas Tech Response golf shoes, which is my favorite golf shoe in the world. I also have this other pair of Adidas that I only where for more formal golf, like charity events and things like that. I hate those shoes.

Callaway Cambridge (erc collection)
Etonic G sok XCR spikeles (1-black and 1-brown)
Snake Eyes Strike (made by Hi Tec)
and a classic pair of footjoys that are sort of wing tipped w/ the tasseled tongue. these will likely stay on display, as I can't bring myself to wear them they're so pretty.

I have 2 Footjoy Steamer trunks full of Classics. 18 pairs in all... I'm a shoe HO! I wear 4 pairs for my day to day play, but wear the others for special events, tournaments etc... And ofcourse 2 pairs of Mudders (Dry Joys)...

3 pair for play rotation - 2 Adidas Powerband 1.0 red/white and black/tan/white and 1 Powerband 2.0 Blue/white.

I did just order a 5th pair of Powerband 3.0 customized from miAdidas.

I also have about 4 or 5 pair which are not in the rotation sitting in the garage somewhere.

I've never met a man, least one that's 35 years or more in age that cared about how many golf shoes I have or wear.  I can see what might come from knowing who likes what make of shoes or cleats; this is a first for me. I can't help but wonder what someone might learn about himself from what others wear.  What's next from the current crop???? boxer or briefs.

I am not saying you're all lying, but there's a lot of talking (text) and not a lot of walking (pics) going on here. Especially those claiming to be shoe freaks. Shoe freaks have pics of every pair on file. To me there's no use having more than maybe 4-5 pair. I couldn't find more than that many I liked right now if I was going to buy them all now. I understand these collections are from years of collecting, but for me I'd rather have a couple pair a year and not worry about storing them for years just in case I might need to impress someone with an orange or pink pair from 1992.
