Balls you love or loathe

I hate everything from Titleist! There, bash away, but a company who can't create their own golf ball, deserves to go under. And this year... STILL not making a 4 piece? WHATEVER Titelist... your popularity will continue to go downhill.... enjoy it.

By far the worst balls I've ever hit are the current B330's. I'm a +1.4 so I don't suck, but these balls made me suck. They're hard and clicky on all shots & on green side chips these are spinproof. I love the B330s and b330rx, but these are horrible.

 

amazing how the tour guys love it for exactly all the characteristics you say these balls don't have. Most likely you don't swing fast enough for this ball. This ball is really designed for the 115 - 120 mph club head speed off the tee and they spin like hell around the green for me... not sure what that's about, wedge groves maybe?? doesn't make sense

I first played a B330rx this year, I loved it the first time i hit it, 9i on a par3 striaght and long, then i went to mark my ball and the cover was hammered after one shot, granted it was pretty sweet. Anyone else with this complaint? I love the e6+ also but the lack of spin around the green is getting annoying

I play the e6+ and love it but you are correct about the spin. I've tried the B330S, but my swing speed is not fast enough for the ball. I am considering trying the e5+ which is supposed to have more spin than the e6+.

 

And, I will not play Nike anything, balls, clubs, shoes, shirts, hats the entire enchilada.

I really dislike the HX Hot, saying it feels like a rock is an understatement. If the Hot Bite had better durability, it would probably be my ball of choice. The Hot Bite is softer than the HX Hot although still on the firm side. I am a mid handicapper and play the TM Burner TP, it seems to fit my game the best overall.

I loved Titleist Prestige and Professional and the original Maxfli Revolutions. Wound ball with urethane cover, just amazing. I'm still bummed these models went out of production, you'd think they would still make some money on Professionals at least.

Bridgestone B330-S and Taylormade TP Red. I did not like the new Nike one tour at all, difficult to manage on less than full shots. Keep coming up short.

I will not play anything that says Top Flite on it, I know the Gamer is supposed to be a better players ball, but the thought of hitting one sends vibrations from my clubhead to hands and makes my ears hurt. I also will not play a Nike Karma or Mojo, both balls are hard as a rock and the marketing is just plain corny, let's just say I am not thier target market. I also have played but did not like the Taylor Made TP balls, picked some up cheap on clearance and it was a waste of $20.

 

 

I will play about any urethane covered ball especially if the price is right but prefer the Pro V1, the X is OK and the E5+ or B330. A friend just game me a dozen HX tours, we will see how those work, and the Nike's are good balls. I will play the NXT tour or a low compression ball like the Noodle in the winter or when the ground is real soft or muddy and spin is not a concern, just to save money and to try to maximize carry.

 

Sorry Top Flite, or uh er...Rock Flite as I call them, no matter what you do I cannot play your balls, I dont care if Kenny Mayne jumps out from behind a tree and gives them to me free or not.
