What's wrong with morgan?

Morgan Pressel just absolutely broke down after the Fields Open in Hawaii after her final round sat night. What's bothering her??? She is on the LPGA at the age of 17 and got a special ok to be there and she's in hawaii!! she said "i have very high expectations and im very disappointed when i dont meet them"- yea really. I hope we dont have to see Pressel brake down and cry every time she loses in the final round...or maybe it was michelle's fault. ;)

Isn't that a little harsh? She's still maturing and she's shown to be an emotional player. I'm sure she'll get "Tour" hardened... ;)

she is the biggest cry baby in the world... last year at the Wendys Tournament in ohio she cried after her round because she missed a putt that would let her play with annika anyone that is thinking about that on the 15th hole how many putts she can make and miss needs psychiatric help.

Shes gonna have to get over that crying business. Its understanding that she young and emmotional but if she is old enough to play professional golf, she needs to learn how to take defeat professionally. She is a great talent with a good work ethic. She will get over the crying in time I would imagine. We'll see.

I'm curious/concerned to see if she falls into the media trap and starts focusing too much on trying to outdo Wie and no longer growing her game playing against the field.

 

She's being cast as "the one who's out to get Wie", and if that's how she starts to perceive herself, it'll ruin her focus and potentially take some of the potential shine off of her individual career.

I don't see her being "cast" in this role by the media, no more than Terrel Owens was "cast" as a psycotic malcontent. She stuck her foot in her mouth talking about Wie. She need not worry about the career of any other player but her own. Wie brings dollars to the LPGA, dollars that Pressel could win if she focused on her own game and stopped worring about the bounce of somebody elses ball (Birdie Kim comes to mind). Wie is a year younger, but ages older in maturity and humility.

This thread is going nowhere fast. Morgan is a tough player. Watching her yesterday, she made some fantastic shots and also had some poor breaks. It's golf...some day's you're going to be up and others down. As a wise person said, "Golf is the most humbling of games".

I think she is hot agressive and will be beating michelle and alot of others for some time to come. She is relentless she didnt stick her foot in her mouth she announced what everyone else already knew michelle wie is a choke artist who doesnt deserve the media she has been getting. Wie is tall hits it a decent way and will never compete with the men. Pressel is a grinder who I would put in match play against say ummm david toms with me baking her any day. Guys she is the better player sorry
