was reading some old posts about these putters the other day -- people were saying that the ones with the elastomer insert made the putter easier to hit than the ones without it. so my question is -- 1. is this true 2. does mine have this elastomer 3. how does it compare to a studio select or something in its "easyness to hit".

 

my putter has white around the insert -- all other markings seem to be the same.

I think the answer depends on who you ask. IMO- the difference in "forgiveness" is minimal.

 

The Te-I3's are much softer than the Studio Select Line. And again, which one is easier to hit depends on who you ask.

 

If you want something w/ forgiveness, check out the "high MOI" putters. ie, the Spider, Sabertooth or Craz-E.

thanks, yeah i never really got the idea of forgivness in a putter when its prob the easiest club in the bag to hit square. the whole thing just interested me and i noticed that mine had the white lining around the insert. which made me wonder what year it was from exc.
