Don't bash the driver until you have had a chance to try it....

 

This is an absolutely amazing driver .... especially with the "simple" look.

The feel and sound are great.

Very fast ball speeds off the face.

Long and very boring trajectory

Very low spin.

*the face angle is square, but becasue of the smaller size it is very workable in both directions.

 

At 390cc it is a great size.... and you are now starting to see some tour players go back to a smaller head. An example is Anthony Kim with the 380cc Nike driver...

Yes it is considered a deep face driver... the face height is as tall as most 460cc drivers.

I have been using the Miura Precious Edition driver since last summer. It simply works for me. I got tired of the latest and greatest from Callaway and Taylor Made and decided to stick to something fairly plain and basic. I play the matching fairway metalwoods as well.

You should know this head is made in China, not Japan and is not made by Miura. I have it and it is a super long great head. But you JDM people should realize that almost all driver heads are now made in China. Therfore, buy it because it plays great not its name only.

Well, technically the driver head is forged in Taiwan at a much higher cost than China. I was told that Mr. Miura selected this foundry due to its high quality and not low cost.

Anybody get any spin number comparisons with this head. I can't get below 3400 to save my life. Anybody try this head with a kai'Li or Oban shaft. wondering as well if this face is forgiving for how deep it is. Seems like it would be low spin if it was matched up with the right shaft.

After hitting a bunch of different Drivers over the last few weeks, this Driver with the Fubuki shaft stills holds the #1 spot in the bag.

I am killing the ball with this Driver.

By far, the best feel and sound.

Nobody laughing at the name of the Driver in the groups I play with. Way to busy admiring drive after drive...

I'm thinking about changing from a Mizuno MP600, 9.5 deg. w/ Rombax shaft, ® to a Miura, 9deg. with same shaft. Since you can't hit these as demo's on a lauch monitor, any one out there that does not like the Miura driver?

I have a 10.5 with arombax 6z08 stiff tipped 1 inch at 44.5 inches. It flies like a 9.5 for me and it is as far as anything I have hit. I have 2 9015D Adams a 9.5 and a 10.5 but I think I am more consistent with the miura.

I just got one from a member on this board who is a clubfitter (Ted/PlayersEdge). It's a 9 degree and Ted recommended the AXIVcore shaft. I got the "red" model, stiff flex. I am an 11 handicap and have a mid to high 90's swingspeed, smooth transition. Tried the club for the first time today. VERY straight and plenty long, eliminated the high right misses I was having. Easy to hit.

I had a 10.5 with the Matrix X-con 5 shaft but seemed to hit it too high. The new one seems about perfect in terms of ballflight.
