He is a 20.2 index and won the Future Champions Golf World Championship in February. His 108 at the Old Course in St. Andrews was pretty impressive as it was over 6,000 yards which meant he hit some great tee shots into heather because he could not reach the fairway and just had to chop out. One hole on the New Course he had to aim up the walk path and actually hit his little 3 yard fairway with a 3 wood and then nailed it off the path. A couple holes he had to play sideways off the tee to be in front of the double green (100-150 yard green!) and then play the hole because of the carry.

Awesome! I hope to have a son one day that I can enjoy the sport with, like you 2 do! And he has a pretty darn good set of sticks there! I think he wedges could use a little "Zane" stamping!

He managed to avoid that bunker (Hell) but just had to check it out. He did rake his own footprints. I have some video of him hitting sideways out of one after a perfect drive that got a scottish (bad) bounce, lol.

Ok, I have some real issues with the putting stroke follow through. First off.............nah, just kidding!!!!!

 

Question, is the TM bag a junior bag?? If not, are you fighting the clubs a bit because they're "hanging" in the bag?

NO WAY!!! This is the coolest WITB yet! Congrats to Zane and yourself for giving him a nicer set than 95% of the people i know!

 

Corona Del Mar? Where do you guys usually practice and play? I'm right up the street in Newport Beach/Irvine border.

We play mostly at Newport Beach Golf Course, Par 59, 3180 yards, great for Zane. We do play Pelican Hill as they have a killer Junior rate of $60 TOTAL for BOTH the parant and junior and all the range balls you want with a cart. It is after 5;30 pm (might be 6pm in June). You get a cart and we play quick and always get in 18 holes. If we are not the first group we just drive ahead and play 1 after 18. It is unbelievable how slow some people play. We take 2:30 tp play with no traffic as a twosome. He also like Birch Hills, Costa Mesa, Meadowlark and Shorecliffs. He also likes to chip in the backyard which is why he is so dealy around the green.
