I work hard on my game. I want new irons. Those burners are amazing my friend games them. I would play TM forever, even the balls, if I were to get those clubs. It would make me feel better about putting golf before eating and sleeping.

I recently decided that the next set of irons I purchase will be in my bag for a very, very long time. So I went ahead and splurged (with the help of some birthday money) on one of those full bag fitting sessions (driver to putter). The two sets of irons I hit the purest (outstanding trackman numbers) were the Burner 09s with the KBS Tour Stiff shafts and the Ping S57s with S300s. I had been a Ping Irons guy for a long time and then switched to Callaways because Ping wasn't putting out irons that worked for me. Recently found out that the Callaways I've been playing weren't properly fit for my swing (Callaway tour van screwed up the fitting).

I'm leaning towards the Burner 09s because they're longer and straighter than the Ping 57s. But in this economy, the price for having either one of those sets of irons custom built to my specs is pretty steep.

I've never hit the prototypes but if they play anything like a Burner 09/S57 sort of hybrid, I would love to have them. If someone else is more deserving i'd be very happy with the retail 09s

The 09 Burner "B" heads are the best looking set of irons ever made next to the 300 Lehmans. These irons have the aestetics of the Lehmans but with alot newer technology and of course the smoke finish. I would like to win the "B" heads because they remind me of my old TM 300's but with the newer technology. It would be a set for the ages that would never leave the bag. Plus shafted to "my" specifications......even better!

Those Burner B heads have to be the best looking clubs that TM has ever produced (the Lehman Box Toes come a close second).

The gamer cavity backs with the minimal/no offset + thin sole + graphics + finish makes me want to relearn how to play golf, just so I can buy new clubs again.

I have the MP-60s and while they're good and buttery, they just don't have that extra smidge of forgiveness that I need on an off day.

It would be kind of anti-climactic to have the ultimate set of irons, blue-printed to my specs. I would have to come up with a whole host of new excuses for my golf game These irons mean business and I would love to game these.
