I've recently heard from a couple of people that the 735cms are coming early August, but the 695 mb and cb are coming some number of months afterward. I'd love to have all three released early August so I can compare the 735s to the 695cb.

Not gonna happen. The 735 heads are all made and stockpiled as are the bulk of the 660's. Very few 695's have been churned out.

I could be way off but aren't 695CBs geard towards a better player than the 735CMs??

If so the short iron blades of the 735s would lead me to think otherwise. How do they compare????

Just curious if anyone knows if Titleist will be for forgiving in customizing their new irons.

A couple of years ago I wanted to buy a set of 680's and they would not let me buy them from the factory a inch over standard and they would only "guarantee" bending them 6 degrees upright.

Being 6"6" my specs are 1.34 inches over standard and about 9 degrees upright.

I was forced to buy mizuno's who was more than happy to bend my MP 37's however much I wanted.

I guess I could have bought the titleist and reshafted and bent them myself but that seemed like alot of cost for really the same product as the mizuno's.

As a result,  I am very skeptical of going back to Titliest,  plus I love my MP-37's.

9 up is quite alot even for someone who is 6' 6". :idhitit:

Does anybody know if the 735s that come out very soon will have the anvil logo on them or will they be clean??

I believe the chrome will not have the anvil, but the others will.

I thought neither had it. Could be wrong.

Don't quite know how to settle the differences about whether there will be a 503i retail club "next spring," or "No 503i to be released."

36221

No confusion. There is not any plan to release the 503i

503U will be called 585H.

905R in all lofts with same shaft options as the current 905 line.

660, 695MB, 695CB, 735CM (Stainless), 735 (Chrome), 775CB, 704 will make up the iron line up. They are kicking around the idea of a player's version of the 704 (ala the "B" series) but I doubt it.

As I get updates I always post them here ... not from a local or regional rep and not from TGW.com customer service :clapping:

A while back I stated that the 695's will follow the 735's before the end of the year. Production could never meet that time table so the plan is for a full launch in spring for all.

Golow, do you have anymore info on the 775's?

Will they be forged the same way as the 735's or like the 704/804's?

Where will they fit in the line up (handicap wise)?

Thanks

36259

They are forged stainless like the 735(stainless) and 704. They have an alloy insert in the back low in the cavity to reposition mass for an increased perimeter weighting.

They actually look "cleaner" with less offset than the 804's. Not sure if the offset measures any different though. I suppose the target golfer is the mid-handicap, but low cappers used to a larger iron will be pleased. Titleist doesn't really target the high capper ... that's why cobra is under the umbrella I guess.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
