By conforming I am referring to the new groove rules set by the USGA that go into effect in 2010. The Ci7's were made with box grooves and will not be legal to use in USGA "championship" events.

i think its a lil busy lookin...but being a wilson head and knowing howgoof their stuff is...i m sure its an improvement to the ci7 which is a fantastic set for a mid handicap!

FOR THOSE SAYING ITS A WALMART SET. TM AND CALLAWAY ARE MADE IN CHINA. THEIR PRODUCTS COME OUT FROM THE SAME FACTORY AS A DUNLOP SET! take the BB08 for example, if i put a dunlop badge on it...its worth close to nothing!

After seeing the Ci9's in the flesh I can now conclude that they are so busy looking it hurts my eyes a little. [u]Way[/u] to much black gunk. Certainly no improvement on the Ci7's (which look great IMO) in looks.

I certainly want to hit them and am about due some new sticks. They certainly look different, just wonder how they will hold up their appearance after a few months in the bag. Poor old Wilson have been pouring out very good clubs for a few years now and just dont seem to gain much traction in the marketplace- US at least. Its obviously pretty tough to rebuild your place in the market once you let it slip. Look at McGregor- they built basically the range of irons everyone was dying for and what happened??

44 degree pitching wedge be damned! im going to hit these... ill be longer than the pros with these irons... unless they use them also... and in that case... ill have to switch to the di9s.... now those are gross. anyway i enjoy wilson products i played the pi5s for a few seasons and i really enjoyed them. distance was good control was great.

I have seen better looking irons, but performance counts.

And wilson makes great stuff and delivers in the GI catagory a better blend of performance and forgiveness as TM, Cally, Mizuno.....

Those are some of the ugliest irons I have ever seen. Who thinks of this stuff? Seriously. Do designers say hmmm...How can I make the ugliest golf club in the world and put a bunch of plastic and rubber all over the place? They look like they would cost 100 bucks for a set at Wal-Mart.
