Fujikura Rombax

Rombax is Fujikura's proprietary material technology that features two separate sheets of graphite. The first is a computer woven, braided box-weave composite and the second is Triax, a sheet specially woven from three strands of high-grade graphite. Together, these sheets of graphite greatly reduce ovaling during the downward portion of the swing and increase shaft consistency and stability at tour level swing speeds.

I've just put this shaft, the 6V05 version in my R7 Tour 400cc. This shaft loads good for me, has a very good kick, similar to the speeders but more consistant. This is the best combination I've hit so far, this setup will be in my bag for the rest of this year. That is, or until I win the Lottery. :)

I'm with Mac on this one. Absolutely great shaft. I put it in my Comp and I'm hitting it much flatter than my old 569 and just a touch lower which is perfect. Great combo of carry/roll. Kicks hard, but consistent. Best shaft I've ever hit.

Just put this shaft into my Comp 9.5 and am not sure this is the answer. I am very impressed with it's accuarcy. I'm hitting twice as many fairways as before which is great, but I haven't seen an increase in distance. I shafted up a 6W06 -X into the comp, ss 106-110. I need to play a few more rounds to see if this shaft will pay off. My miss tends to have too much spin(head or shaft?).

have a 7w06 X in my 9.5* Mizuno Mp-600. Seems less stiff than other shafts-anyone else notice this? Produced good mid ball flight with a slight draw. Could really swing away with this shaft without the duck hook. About 114mph ss w/ 45.5" driver.

got the 6w06 (BT-31) into my tour burner tp. Due to the limited time, i didnt managed to play with it on course yet except to have some shots at the range. Previously was playing with the stock rombax 65g and the ball flight tense to balloon most of the time so upon trying this shaft at the range, I apparently realised that the shaft was quite hard at the tip but the ball flight seem to be at the medium trajetory and it feels really easy to get the ball on track. My only worry is that whether will i loose distance with this combo. Any bros here have any experience to share along?

Tested the 6w06 out today as a possible replacement to the E360 for my FT-5. The numbers were good on the monitor, low boring flight, low spin, always hitting FW, didnt pay much attention to distance as I would take 15 yds off my drive if it meant hitting the FW off every tee. If I cant find a suitable shaft combo for this, i will go to the FT-i.

I played my first round the a 7Z08 tour stiff flex in a Adams XTD pro driver and i am really pleased with the results , i get a low boring ball flight and it flies straight , even though this shaft is a little stiffer than what i had been using i have not lost any distance .. yet anyway
