The Ping G15 driver is just so long and straight. Hit every fairway but 2 today.

lol. Hey man he loves golf more than anyone here it seems!

1 month in and no desire to get any new clubs! 5 rounds with the new sticks and I would like to report I'm very happy with them.

My New Driver is a beast, the Irons are a joke to hit (I'm knocking down everything so easy to do with these irons).

VR Wedges are great (the 58.10 is one hell of a wedge).

I hate my putter - looking for a blade either a new Laguna 1.5 or Redwood Zing.

It's a confidence thing. I've lost it - I've never used a full offset putter shaft - played a ping zing forever then a squareback 1 which has a double bend.

The squareback 2 will be on BST soon once I find the putter I want - I have 3 choices right now - back to a ping zing redwood, new scotty laguna 1.5 or method 4.

Havent hit the method 4 or laguana yet but if I don't love either, back to the trusty zing.

is it a laguna, laguna 1.5 or laguna slant neck? Also, is it a single sight line or 2 line alignment. What finish and model will it be in?

Looks like laguna 1.5, sight line, 3 dots on the cavity - standard finish.

The Laguna has finally arrived - Putter was made for me! Ping Zing style with the Scotty Softness. My game is coming around nicely - If I can only make a few putts here and there I'll be on the negative side of par.

I'm in myrtle beach on a golf trip right now. Played a few rounds at the legends (Oysters bay, TPC, Heritage and Heathland) from the Tips. With the wind in the face playing from the tips these courses play long.

I've used almost all the clubs in my bag and must admit I absolutely love my clubs for 2010. I am just destroying the Driver. I'm with a group of 12 and granted they are all in the mid 40s while I am 31 but they have never seen balls where I'm putting them.

The AP2s are a dream. The 909F2 is fantastic. I haven't hit a hybrid yet and hopefully I won't have to as I'm still having a few small issues even after switching to steel.

The star of the show is the 909F2. What a 3 wood! Amazing stick for sure.

When I get home I'm ditching the 909h 17 and picking up a 18.5 909f2. Should go about the same distance but higher and land softer.

quick update:

My 17 and 21 deg hybrids are to close in distance to justify having both - The 17 deg just hits too low after throwing the steel shaft in it.

So today I picked up a 18.5 909F2 5 Wood to match my 3 wood with the titleist Diamana Shaft.

I needed something that can get up and land soft from 230. Can easily get 235 from the 17 but Too much run out.

Also picked up a fresh pair of VR Wedges - They gave me 80 bucks for my "old? pair so another 100 bucks gets me the spin I need - Cheaper then buying a new shirt!

curious why you put steel shafts in the hybrid. I imagine it would be way to low in 17 with steel. You didn't like your made for Diamana or Voodoo.

yep the 17 launched way to low.

But my 21 is now a 22 deg and I opened it 1 deg. With the Steel Shaft the launch is perfect.

I didn't mind the Diamana but with the S300 it's soooooooo much more consistant.

Like an amazing difference. I'm very happy with the 909H now.

I went to Carls on Sunday to compare differnet 3 and 5 woods. NOTHING can beat the flight of my 909F2s. They are so easy to hit it's crazy. I for one want a fairly whipy shaft in my Woods so they launch high and land soft. I don't need the extra 10 yards and don't play in very windy conditions.

I tried the:
R9, Superfast, Ping G15, i15, Cobra S2, TEE CB3 Tour, VR, Machspeed, .....


I've been doing really good this year - 5 Wood was the first club I purchased since march and I traded in a pair of worn wedges and 909H for it.

The AP2s are the best irons of all time and the G15 blueboard is longer than long.

I love my clubs. (Helps when you get fitted to eliminate the guessing!)

It's been since Feb since I bought a new Club. Today I got the itch and ordered the following:

Cobra ZL Driver Diamana Blueboard.
Titleist 909F2 13.5 and 18.5 Woods with 73g Blueboards.

I love the 909 woods and I've never hit any wood or hybrid better.

I've decided to give up on hybrids possibly forever.

I want to give the Ping G15 driver something to be afraid of. It's been a great 3 months with it but she's getting to comfy.

Looks like I'm keeping the 909 Woods for a while (2nd year now) so I decided to order them with upgraded shafts to match my driver.

3-PW aps and Nike VR 52 and 58 remain.

I'll post pics when I get them.

I also finally broke down and purchased a Sun Mountain Speed Cart V1. Now to look for a cart bag.

Hey George,

you got some great taste for clubs you're playing.
I use the 21 titleist 909 aswell. I enjoy every second with the club. I pretty hit it from tee, fairway, rough, forest, bridges, greens(semi) and in my home garden. There are many spots where I cant hit a 3iron.

I play the NS Pro 970 Stiff Steel. I like the pure look and it fits more to my shots.

your witb is nice to read, GL and plenty of great shots in 2010.

Everyone seems to be in love with the AP2s. They are definitly a great club but for some reason they seem a bit bulky. Anyone else out there feel this way. I play the 695s.

I don't care for them either..I prefer a thinner top line as well. I know there is a lot of success with them but not for me. I prefer a narrow sole as well.

I know. Ugly as sin. I usually use a 909D headcover with the G15.
