Gentlemen, my expertise is in metal finishing, in particular the satin nickel and black nickel. The amount of plating that is placed on the heads or putters is approximately .0005. The coating doesn't have performance benefits but corrosion benefits. There are a few types of black nickel also. Also note when cleaning the clubs use something that has a low PH.

Finish is similar to titliest vokey finish except not a shiny. to a Pic of 2 - 9 irons side by side one chrome & one black nickel

I suppose the finish looks like the black nickel wedges from the last two seasons. . .

I find the chrome finish to be harder and less susceptible to nicks. Just my impression, having owned a set of black nickel wedges and now a set of chrome.

I will post some pics this week. Mine showed up last week.
They look amazing!!!! Came with a book of all mizunos products. Packaging was good.
Kbs tours, custom grips and 3-pw
960 candian to the door.

Got them from golfstore Europe they where great to deal with. Very responsive. They notified me when they got the irons from mizuno before shipping to me. They kept me updated through out the process.
Couldn't of asked for more.

Woah! How is it that European orders have KBS Tours as free upgrades?!?!?! Hmmmm, I'm looking into this. Sad that it is cheaper to buy overseas, including shipping, than it is Stateside. And the nickel finish to boot!

Well I got out and played mine. And love them!!!! I cam honestly say I never hit my irons this well.
They are almost a club longer than my 33's. They feel much softer maybe because of the lack of chrome finish.
I really like the kbs shaft as well. I have always had issues hitting a cut, but not now.
It is very easy to throw darts with these. I'm far from the best player around, I played to a 4 last year.
And I do find these easier to hit that mp 60's or some thing cavity.
Maybe that's just me, but I do not get into trouble with these. They also smooth out my swing.

The fit a finish is perfect. Wheights are how I specified and lofts and lies are bang on.
Alittle different than off the shelf.

The crazy thing is the price ordering from the uk. Much cheaper than golftown.
They will be in the bag for a very long time!

I would have to put iron covers on those bad boys. Black nickel looks awesome. Since only Asia/Europe gets them, if we order them here to the US, do you think a US mizuno shop could restore them down the road in black nickel?
