Wow, the offset on those irons, fantastic.
Yea 0 offset, on both sets, great to look down at, one of the biggest reasons I went to players irons right from the get go when I picked the game up.
Funny thing is I went to the range today, grabbed my 7 iron out and looked down and was like WTF.... it looked like the club had offset at first, but then i noticed the shaft is bent at the hosel, looks like my wife did it when she was using it at the range last week with the kids, or someone stepped on it. So now I get to find a place that I can pick up a Tour concept S3 7 irons shaft, or I might just reshaft them with KBS to match my other TD set, though as mentioned above I have taken up S&T and my ball flight is really low from what it was. So i might be looking to getting some of the monacos or something else.

slick setup
Thanks, I was going to do an overhaul of the woods, but I just dropped the money on another TD set that I am still working on the specs.
What I know for sure:
Satin Chrome Finish
SB-1 Heads'
Thin Line, Thin Sole
3-PW

What I am thinking of designs is
Lofts stamped instead of traditional club numbers, I even thought of having nothing indicating the club except a tiny dot on the hosel indicated by a color. (id be screwed if the paint fill ever came out haha).
For shafts I might go Px or Nippon (modus3)

Other than that im unsure

any one got some cool suggestions?

love the irons, and wedges for that matter.. in response to your post on my WITB i think you should get the 47 to match that wedge set, highly recommended.
I just might. The 2 months I have really started messing with my wedges, particularly ball positions to mess around with trajectory. My new TD set is going to be 3-PW SB1 so I might add a 47* to the order so I can interchange them.

Really looking forward to next year. Need to break 80. I really feel I didnt do it this year because of me changing my swings, which I am not thinking it was just the KBS shafts in my set. I come to this conclusion for a few reasons.
1. I feel like I have to do a lot of things in my swing to get the club where I want it with the KBS, I just dont feel comfortable with them. unfortunatley this caused me to mess with my swing all year which gave me really mixed results.

2. after testing out the PX5.5 and Modus 3 Sflex , (expecially the modus) I found out my swing was fine and the club just seemed effortless to swing, I had a much better trajectory and I think a little distance game.

This next TD set is going to have the modus 3's in them.

Nice irons- they look amazing...

Both him and Kekoa,
When I first saw there TD sets I was floored by the sheer beauty of the clubs. after talking with them about performance and feel I took the jump to contact Patrick @ Scratch and jumped on my first TD set.
After recieving my first TD set (the AR-1 headshape) I always wondered why I did not go blades, as I love the head shape, and for some reason inspire confidence (probably opposite of most)

The only thing I did not like with my first TD set was the shafts. Now granted I could of re shafted fairly easily.. the sad fact of it is my wife doesn't know that bit of information so I had to get all new clubs HAHA :partytime2:

The Nippon Modus3's are a very very smooth shaft as I have heard all nippon are, feel totally different then the KBS Tours.

Once I get my putter made and wood shafts , Ill probably work on getting my first TD set shafted with some modus 3's I don't foresee me selling them.. but you never know I guess.

LMFAO! Kekoa is still paying me royalties for copying my first set :)

Will, your set looks amazing (I'm obviously biased ) and I hope they feel as good as they look. Mine have treated me very kindly since I first got them 2 years ago.. I've never thought twice about switching my irons out. Hope they bring you as much enjoyment as mine have.. and many low rounds. :drinks:

Good lord those are amazing. I would pretty much play everything in your bag today.

You need to give those beauties their own thread!!! Is that tiffany paintfill btw?

congrats again. i know they have been a long time in the making.
Yea, should of showed them by themselves ha ha. Oh yea, been stunting Tiffany blue's since my first pair of Da Da shoes (tiffany blue, running shoes) or back when they made good shoes. I loved those things.

Love the new irons. I really like the loft stamps, and the square toes are the best thing going in golf. Scratch should make square toes a retail standard.

Ho do you like the Modus 3 shafts? I'll have to search for reviews. I'm currently demoing Super Peening Blue X flex shafts in some SB-1s. I really like them. Firm, snappy when struck well, very controlled, lots of feedback, no loss of height or distance, and they don't ballon when hit into the wind. I'm not sure what else I would want in an iron shaft, so I may just stop looking.
