Any opinions on the HARMON TOUR DESIGN Shafts??

i tried one at golfgalaxy in an r5 and it felt great. It was on the simulator and gave me pretty similar numbers to what i usually do, overall its a good shaft for the money.

I have this shaft in my Launcher 400. (HTD CB-65 Stiff) It has a nice balance of weight and flex. Very powerful kick, tip is not too stiff and not to soft. Mid-high ballflight. My drives are very straight, I dont really work the ball alot, Ill take my straight drives any day. This shaft has definitley been responsible for me hitting more fairways and dropping some stokes. I will probably put this shaft in my next driver, probably should put it in my 3wood too. My SS is about 100, and I average about 250yds. I dont have to go after it that much with this shaft, like I said, the kick is powerful.

I have a HTD 7520 in my Lanuncher 460 and love it. It is very accurate and has a nice feel, not weak or boardy, just right. It's made by UST, so your getting some of the V2 technology as well.

Thanks for all the nice input. I think Mr. Clem is correct in his assessment (as is the norm, so my sources say). The Torque is a little higher in the Harmon as opposed to the V2 Proforce with comparable weight. V2 is probably a better fit for me. Again, thanks for the help. Mr. Clem are you having flatstick troubles since you seem to have so many in reserve??? Do you audition prior to most rounds? I may need to adopt that philosophy as well.

Wing Seeker, I will share my philiosphy with you. Sometimes my clubs misbehave -- say, just like your little brother (should you have one or more). They don't make 3 footers; they lip out 6 footers; they miss 15 footers by a mile. So, an occasional trip to time out is appropriate.

 

Furthermore, two of my backups are mint PING BeCu putters. Im starting a collection. If you by chance have a model, let me know. I just might buy it.

 

You must be a Cleveland fan??? Most of your posts deal with CG wedges, irons and woods. What gives?

You are obviously very observant. I tend to gravitate to the Cleveland side of the ledger.

Thank you so much for sharing your line of thinking about the backup putters. I think

that is a very astute way of looking at the art of putting. Maybe, it would benefit you

to "stick" with a favorite putter and simply make it behave. Just a little food for thought.

I have the HTD CB65 in my Launcher 3 Wood. Its my "bread and butter" off the tee in tight situations. (I've never hit it off of a hospitality tent, though!)

 

What gets me about this shaft is that its the only club in my bag that will sometimes draw with my normal swing. Everying else is a slight fade. I know this shaft has a "draw bias". Why does it do that?

 

What about the shaft causes a draw?
