Spin with G15 irons?

Hey all,

 

So I'm something of a club ho, and, while I do play well with the Nike VR irons that I'm playing, I really like the look of the G15 irons. I was wondring if anyone had had a chance to play with them, and how the spin was.

 

I have crazy spin with my VRs (I generally stop it dead with my 7 iron), so I wouldn't mind something with a little less spin. However, given that they conform to the groove rule, I'd like to know just how little spin they have.

Let me be the first to try and help you out. Coming off the AP2s, I find these to be adequate in the spin category. These irons simply hold the greens - they don't spin back a great deal, but I rarely worry about a ball bouncing over the green. I play the 2008 Pro V1, and I think it is a nice match. I haven't had to worry about spin out of the rough so far.

Thanks for your help! This is bad news....with adequate spin and my feeling of them in the simulator, I may be down a few dollars (and up a few irons) soon!
